What to Expect at Your KYBELLA® Appointment
Your appointment begins with a consultation focused on the fullness beneath your chin, your medical history, and your aesthetic goals. Your Omni Cosmetic provider will evaluate the area, determine whether KYBELLA® is appropriate for you, and create a personalized treatment plan.
During treatment, your provider marks the injection pattern and administers a series of small injections beneath the chin. The number of injections depends on the amount and distribution of fat and your desired profile.
KYBELLA® works gradually over the following weeks as the body processes the treated fat cells. Swelling is expected and may be most noticeable after early sessions. Many patients can return to regular activities shortly after the appointment, although visible swelling or bruising may affect social downtime.
KYBELLA® Maintenance Recommendations
Follow the post-treatment instructions provided by your Omni Cosmetic provider. Recommendations may include using a cold compress as directed, temporarily modifying strenuous activity, protecting the area from excessive sun exposure, and monitoring swelling and other injection-site reactions.
Attend follow-up assessments so your provider can evaluate progress and determine whether another session is appropriate
Maintain a stable weight to support your overall contour
Use broad-spectrum sunscreen on exposed skin
Contact the practice promptly with new, worsening, or concerning symptoms
Because treated fat cells are permanently destroyed, routine maintenance injections are not typically needed after you reach your desired result. Future care depends on your goals, anatomy, and weight stability.

Complete the initial treatment series recommended by your provider
Up to six treatment sessions may be administered, with each session scheduled at least one month apart
